Electronics Engineering ToolKit Pro 8 for iPhone

This is the brand-new Electronics Engineering ToolKit PRO for iPhone! A highly rated and recommended productivity app, the EE ToolKit just received another very big update since its introduction in 2010. The app is suited for anyone interested in electrical engineering, from students to hobbyists to electrical engineers.

"EE Toolkit – Best App Ever"

"Excellent and nicely done app!"

"The best I’ve seen and used"

"Top Notch"

"Great Tool for Electronic Geeks!"

"One electronics app to rule them all!"

"Accurate and Excellent"

"Must have for electronics engineers"

iPhone 6

Ω 92 electronic applications

Ω amazingly great multi-functional keyboard
Ω color code picker tools
Ω now with a brand-new Audio Scope and a frequency pitch detector
Ω of course with a full-featured frequency generator
Ω extra large component reference section (incl. 7400 Series, PIC family, etc.) with the option to open pdf datasheets live or by e.g. iBooks
Ω simple and quick unit conversion within the single calculators
Ω fast on-the-fly conversions and calculations
Ω real-time circuit simulations
Ω support for preferred E series, sliders and min/max calculations
Ω auto-save of all entries over several sessions
Ω and many many more

This is the brand-new version of the EE ToolKit Pro for iPhone. It is yet again a very big release, loaded with tons of new features, extensions and improvements. I have put a lot of hard work into it and I really hope you will like it as much as I do!

Thanks very much to all the users that have sent me their feedback. I am happy to say that I have implemented almost all of your requests. But if you find something missing, please know that I have it on my todo list. It will come.

Ω added a brand new Audio Scope. The scope supports a buffer mode, rolling mode and an FFT view. Please note that you have to allow access to your device’s microphone so this can work properly.
Ω added a brand new tool to the Frequency section: a pitch detector! This tool lets you detect and show the fundamental frequency of a captured microphone audio input. This is achieved by running an FFT over the input signal to filter out the part of the signal with the highest amplitude.

iPhone 6 Plus

Ω the decibel tools have been redone completely! There are now 4 sub-tools in total and a very powerful decibel cross-converter with browsing through decibel nomograms.
Ω the RMS tool has been redone completely! Now 10 different waveforms are supported.
Ω added 3 new tools to the RLC section. You can now search a resistor, capacitor or inductor value for a given cut-off frequency (for RC, RL, LC circuits).
Ω added 3 new tools to the RLC color code section. Type in SMD codes directly and the tool will convert to the actual component value, the color code and present it on an actual component.
Ω added 3 new tools to the Basic Circuits section. Find the missing resistor, capacitor or inductor value of a series or parallel circuit for a given total value of the series or parallel circuit.
Ω fixed the Invert / Revert bug for the Number Systems Tool (did exist only on the 64 bit architecture)
Ω corrected the formula for serial impedance (RLC section) – the calculation was actually correct before, but the formula was shown wrong.
Ω the transistor calculators now show voltages and currents at each significant point in the circuit.
Ω added the Clear button to all the text fields

Ω Frequency Generator
-all the frequency presets can now be customized (a new popup menu allows an easy customization of the presets. Just enter a custom frequency and tap on any of the preset-fields to save it).
-added a new view for custom configurations. You can now save any sound configuration there and play it back any time later. Configurations can be rearranged and also deleted.
-fixed an issue with the sweep timer.
-added live quick selection for Speaker L+R / L / R to the Noise screen

If you like the EE ToolKit, please take the time to give me a nice review: it really helps.
